Weekly Bible Study
Held weekly
Tuesdays at 6 PM
Noble Room (lower level of Hendricks Chapel)
9/3, 9/10, 9/17, 10/1, 10/22, 11/5 and 11/12
Our weekly Bible study will focus on the practice of Lectio Divina, Latin for Divine Reading, which is a Christian practice of reading the Bible prayerfully.  In this practice, the participants are invited to read the scriptural text several times to contemplate the meaning of the Bible and the Holy Spirit’s inspiration. Through the Weekly Bible study, participants can have a deeper understanding of the Bible and the Holy Spirit’s guidance in their lives.

Rev. Jee Hae Song is a first-generation immigrant from Seoul, South Korea who arrived in Syracuse in 2016 to serve two United Methodist Churches just after graduating with her master’s degree in divinity.  As a passionate storyteller, who speaks both Korean and English fluently, she weaves biblical and modern-day stories, inviting congregants to strengthen and grow their relationship with God. Reverend Song  is passionate about community-building, education, and assisting young adults in navigating life paths. She loves to read, travel, hike, eat Korean food, and sing.
