The Hendricks Chapel Choir is an auditioned, mixed ensemble representing many of the colleges and majors available at Syracuse University and the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
One of five all-student choirs within the Setnor School of Music, the Hendricks Chapel Choir rehearses once weekly on Thursday evenings, meets for sectional rehearsals for an additional hour per week, and sings for various events in service to the University and the community, including Holidays at Hendricks, Let’s Sing! Community Hymn and Anthem Sing, The Blessing of Students, Remembrance Week, Malmgren Concerts and more.
The Hendricks Chapel Choir is a class offered by the College of Visual and Performing Arts and the Setnor School of Music (ENV 540).
Rehearsals: Thursday, 7 to 9:15 PM, Hendricks Chapel
Sectionals: Weekly TBD by section, one hour
Services: Malmgren Concerts and others TBD
Auditions
Auditions for all choirs in the Setnor School of Music will be held at the beginning of the school year. The Hendricks Chapel Choir is open to students from all schools and colleges. To schedule an audition, please email suchoral@syr.edu.
