Interfaith Exploration Week begins March 3

You’re invited to Interfaith Exploration Week! Join us for a series of gatherings that provide a safe space to learn about diverse religious and spiritual traditions, rediscover familiar traditions, and build relationships and understanding across barriers.

All are welcome to attend any of our Interfaith Exploration Week programs:

Thursday, March 3

  • 8:50 – 9:20 a.m. Christian Outreach Morning Prayer Main Chapel
  • 10 – 11 a.m. Buddhist Meditation Small Chapel
  • 12 – 1 p.m. LIFE @ SU Meeting Strates Room
  • 2 -4 p.m. Catholic Chaplain Fr. Gerry’s Office Hours/Confession Small Chapel
    • This program is reserved for fully initiated Catholic students because it is a sacrament. If you are a fully initiated Catholic student, but have not participated previously, you are welcome!
  • 4 – 6 p.m. Open House Launch Event Noble Room
    • Meet and greet with our Hendricks Chapel community and get comfortable in the space. Snacks provided, including inclusive vegetarian, gluten-free, Halal, and Kosher options! Come and go at your convenience.
  • 6 – 8 p.m. Glorify God Meeting (HBCC) Chaplains’ Suite
  • 7 – 9 p.m. Campus Bible Fellowship Small Chapel

Friday, March 4

    • Women are recommended to wear a head covering if they wish to participate, but not if they wish to simply observe.

    • Join us for our meeting where with our discussion topic will be Connecting Faiths: Interfaith Similarities. We will discuss how our faiths are intertwined, and how we are more alike than we are different. Food will be provided!

Those leading Interfaith Exploration Week programs will ensure all guests are welcomed. No events require advance knowledge or special clothing/materials. Simply come as you are and those facilitating will guide you through the event!
