Girls Who Code
Girls Who Code is a group of driven Syracuse University female students who volunteer their time to make a difference in the Syracuse community. Working with the national organization Girls Who Code, the Syracuse University chapter aims to guide young girls in the Syracuse community toward careers in STEM. Students work with middle and high school students primarily at the Northside Learning Center.
If you would like to volunteer with Girls Who Code, please reach out to Janet Lee at email@example.com.
Pete’s Giving Garden
The Pete’s Giving Garden is a vegetable garden on South Campus that grows fresh produce for the Hendricks Chapel and South Campus food pantries. Volunteering is open to all students, faculty, and staff across the University Campus.
If you would like to volunteer at the Garden, please reach out to Meg Lowe at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Seeking other opportunities?
The Office of Engagement Programs is currently on pause from connecting students to service opportunities other than Girls Who Code or Pete’s Giving Garden on South Campus.
For those interested in other service opportunities, please visit the Mary Ann Shaw Center website to fill out their Volunteer Interest Form.
