The annual Service of Commemoration seeks to honor Syracuse University and State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry students, faculty, staff, retirees, emeriti and trustees who have recently passed away. This program provides an opportunity for our campus community to pause, reflect, acknowledge all that has been lost, and be placed on a collective path for shared renewal.
The 2026 Service of Commemoration will be held in Hendricks Chapel on Mar. 17 at 4:00 p.m. In addition to our in-person program, the service will also be broadcast live and virtually via YouTube. If you plan to participate virtually, please visit youtube.com/HendricksChapel to access the live broadcast. Those unable to attend the live broadcast can later access the taped recording via the same YouTube link.

Parking
Parking will be at the Waverly Avenue Garage (formerly the Sheraton Hotel garage). SU trolleys will pick up/drop off in the circle in front of Orange Hall. The trolley will run from 3 PM to 6:30 PM.
