Hendricks Chapel Quilters is a group of students, staff and faculty, as well as community members, that creates and donates quilts to local community organizations, especially those that provide services to children and families.
The group welcomes all people regardless of sewing experience or skill. Meetings are held in the Noble Room of Hendricks Chapel on Monday evenings (during the academic year) from 5:30-7:30 P.M.
Most recently items made by the Hendricks Chapel Quilters have been donated to:
- The Quilts of Valor Foundation for Veterans with disabilities
- The hospital chaplains at SUNY Upstate Medical University
- Interfaith Works of Central New York
- My Father’s Kitchen, an outreach program for unsheltered community members

- All fabric scraps are sewn into pet beds and donated to Paws Across Oswego County, an animal shelter
